Opera Software has entered into a partnership with Meridian Mobile to offer Opera Mini mobile Web to the customers of telecom firm’s Fly brand in India.

Under the deal, Opera Mini will offer Fly customers the complete web experience through which they can get email on the go, interact with friends on Facebook and Twitter and perform online banking, claims the tie-up.

Commenting upon the partnership, Rajiv Khanna, chief executive officer of Meridian Mobile, said “Opera Mini, with its popularity and experience, bundled with lightning-fast download speeds, is a perfect match to bring the best Internet experience to our customers in India.”
