Cleartrip collaborates with STAR India’s mobile service PLUS

According to a collaboration clinched between Cleartrip.com, an online travel company and STAR India’s Mobile Entertainment division, users of STAR’s mobile service - PLUS will be able to access travel related information on their mobile handsets.

 

PLUS, a multi-service application that provides customers a variety of entertainment content and information services on their mobile devices is reportedly available across the country to all major telecom users.

 

Commenting on the tie-up, Sandeep Murthy, CEO, Cleartrip.com, said, “We see huge potential with an approx of 10 per cent revenues coming from the mobile business over the next couple of years and Star India’s PLUS is an ideal partner to initiate our efforts in this direction.”

 

Furthermore, Viren Popli, senior vice president, STAR Mobile Entertainment said the collaboration between the two companies will offer the convenience of making travel arrangements while on the move and will also give people more time flexibility.
