OnMobile introduces Phone back-up service in India

OnMobile in collaboration with Bharti Airtel, Maxis & Indosat has come up with a comprehensive phone backup product in India which will enable users to retain all the data stored in their phone.

 

All the files types including messages, videos, photos, music, contacts, calendar or events and tasks can be backed up “over the air” to the operator network and remains safe and secure, claims the company.

 

Speaking about the product, Arvind Rao, CEO & Co-founder, OnMobile Global Limited said “The Phone Backup product ensures that subscriber’s retain precious personal information stored on their mobile phones, in event of theft, loss, damage, mistakes & phone upgrades. They can easily retrieve their personal information, over-the-air from the operator network.”

 

To avail the service the user needs to download the software from the company’s website i.e. www.onmobile.com or through SMS by sending ‘BACKUP’ to a toll free number.
