Cricinfo on mobile
Correspondent |  Mumbai |  23 Oct 2007

ESPN owned Cricinfo launched ‘Cricinfo MobiCast’ — a live, ball-by-ball update and scorecard service for Internet/GPRS enabled mobile phones.

The free service is offered in association with US-based Plusmo. Subscribers only need to pay standard data charges based on the carrier’s rate plan. Cricinfo MobiCast can be viewed by typing the URL ‘http://ci.plusmo.com’ into the mobile phone’s WAP browser.
