Yahoo expands mobile search services, ties up with six Asian telcos

Yahoo, an Internet media company announced that it has entered into an alliance with six Asian telecom companies for offering mobile search services.

 

With these partnerships, Yahoo will be able to reach 600 million subscribers, providing immense scope for mobile advertising.

 

Yahoo’s total count of 60 such partnerships includes Mahanagar Telephon Nigam (MTNL) in India, Hong CSL Limited, Smart Communications and Digital Mobile Phlis (Sun Cellular) in the Philippines and Vibo Telecom in Taiwan.
