Wireless social networking revolution to pull $2.5 trillion revenue by 2020, says iSuppli
TT Bureau |  |  18 Jun 2008

The revolution in the Wireless social networking is all set to revamp the global display and semiconductor industries as wireless social networking portfolio including products, services, applications, components and advertising is expected to yield revenues of over $2.5 trillion by 2020, as revealed by iSuppli study.

The study also throws light on the fact that the applications and technologies developed between the time periods from 2009 to 2015 will make the wireless social networking devices a necessity among the consumers, thus expanding the demand, utility, appeal and ultimately the profits for the social networking industry.

The surge in social networking space will further trigger the growth in mobile handsets resulting in more touch screens, flexible displays and displays with motion sensors devices supporting activities like communications, sharing and viewing of content, claims the study.
