Warner, Nokia tie-up for mobile music services

Nokia and Warner Music Group announced tie-up for mobile music services which will enable subscribers to download and listen tot racks on their mobile handsets.

 

Warner Music Group''s Chief Executive Edgar Bronfman Jr. described Nokia's music service as ‘a significant step forward in the evolution of digital music’. "It's the first global initiative to fundamentally align the interests of music companies with telecommunications companies," Bronfman said.

 

The move follows Nokia’s similar tie-ups with other leading music companies namely Sony BMG and Universal Music Group.
