Virgin Mobile introduces vBling in India

Virgin Mobile announced the launch of a new handset, vBling along with a bundled prepaid connection at a price of Rs.2,199 targeting the Indian youth market.

 

Weighing 72 grams, the phone comes with lifetime validity and a prepaid connection along with embedded features like dual display, FM Radio, speaker phone, 65K color main display screen and supports 32 Polyphonic ring tones with storage of up to 500 contacts in the phone memory. Additionally the handset enables the user to access Vbytes, a VAS service from Virgin mobile, said the company.

 

Commenting on the launch, P Madhavan, Chief Sales & Distribution Officer, Virgin Mobile India said “With a perfect blend of style, substance and competitive pricing, vBling can be the ideal way to go mobile for the style conscious youth of today.”

 

The handset will be available in 15,000 outlets, over 1000 modern retail outlets including mobile handset retail outlets and 34 kiosks in high traffic malls across the country.
