Geodesic Information Systems Ltd., leading provider of award-winning mobile and desktop solutions for instant messaging, Internet Radio and mobile VoIP said it has entered into a multi-year licensing deal with a German company selling consumer electronics products, namely Medion AG.

Under the deal, Medion AG will pre install Geodesic’s award-winning Mundu IM solution in its upcoming youth-oriented mobile communications device which will be sold in Europe, enabling it to offer user interface skinning and branding, and XMPP-based management for creating online communities.

Financial details of the deal are not disclosed yet.
