In wake of declining ARPUs it is foregone conclusion that VAS will be the saviour for mobile operators. And Bharti Airtel appears to be being proactive on the front as the company said that it is in talks with leading handset manufacturers to incorprate its VAS platform, Airtel Live in to their handsets.

The company aims to ease the accessibility for the end-users with such a tie-up and thereby increase the usage of the services. The company also says  that it serves up as a good branding exercise as well.

The company is also ready with its youth-centric social networking services, Airtel Mobile Campus to be launched across the country with special focus on the top 10 cities.
