AT&T launches its U-verse Voice services in San Antonio
TT Bureau |  |  04 Aug 2008

AT&T (American Telephone & Telegraph) announced the launch of AT&T U-verse Voice in San Antonio, providing consumers a next-generation digital voice service over the AT&T U-verse Internet Protocol (IP) network.

The AT&T U-verse Voice, which is an IP-based service delivered over AT&T''s fiber-rich network, provides clarity and good sound quality. It will deliver its home phone, wireless, TV, High Speed Internet and Voice services through its advanced Internet Protocol (IP) network and by putting together TV, broadband, home phone and AT&T wireless services in a single bill, will offer users more convenience.

“U-verse Voice uses the power of IP to enhance the calling experience. Just like U-verse TV has changed the way people watch television, U-verse Voice will change the way people use their home phone,” said Mikal Harn, AT&T vice president and general manager for the Southwest region.

AT&T U-verse Voice is available to all new and existing U-verse TV customers in the San Antonio area.
