Tata Teleservices to roll out Blackberry services in next two months
TT Bureau |  |  12 Aug 2008

Tata TeleServices has announced that it will roll out BlackBerry service in the coming next two months even as the services remain under cloud due to security issues.

Tata Teleservices has said that it will abide by whatever decision the government takes in future pertaining to the services. The services have received clearance from the Telecom Secretary who had stated that there is no security concern.

Incidentally the Blackberry controversy came in to highlight following Tata’s request to offer the services. Till then no service provider had taken prior approval to offer Blackberry services in the country.
