Nokia Siemens, KPN launch DVB-H based mobile TV services in Netherlands

Dutch fixed line and mobile operator KPN Telecom and Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) rolled out a new mobile TV service in Netherlands.

 

The new service offers subscribers access to ten television channels over a broadcast network based on Digital Video Broadcast for Handheld (DVB-H), the European standard for mobile television.

 

Nokia Siemens and KPN Telecom are slated to add more channels in the coming years.
