Verizon, Google heading towards and revolutionary deal for search services on mobiles, says WSJ

Wall Street Journal reports that US service provider, Verizon and Google are in final stages of talks over an alliance for wide ranging services addressed to the mobile users. The two parties are reported to be involved in talks for such an alliance since the past year.

 

As per the report, post deal Google will become the default search engine for Verizon subscribers and the two players will share the ad revenues.

 

The reports quotes sources have said that the deal is likely to be finalized in the next few weeks.
