Bharti Airtel CEO, Manoj Kohli is reported to have said that the company may consider entering the digital cinema business in future so as to position the company as a comprehensive content ser vice provider spanning the mediums of mobile phone, broadband, television and cinema screens.

The CEO however did not reveal whether the company would come up with its own outlets for cinemas or would provide the digital technological backbone to cinema service providers.
