Australia’s People Telecom bags Vodafone supply deal

People Telecom, an Australian telecommunication service and internet access provider has bagged a three-year deal with Vodafone Australia to supply mobile voice, email and broadband services.

 

The deal, which forms a part of the company’s multi-partner Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) strategy, will see People Telecom marketing mobile services plans on the Vodafone network, enabling it increase the reach and scope of its mobile offerings.

 

“This is the second supply announcement for People Telecom in recent weeks and paves the way for us to become a multi-network MVNO, offering all our customers the flexibility of operating on the major mobile networks in Australia,” said John Stanton, CEO of People Telecom.

 

Additionally, the agreement will also allow People Telecom to broker its own wholesale agreements for Vodafone mobile services direct to ISPs and ‘tier-three’ carriers across Australia.
