 Parent company Blue Lion mobile on Thursday, kicked off the services of its subsidiary product ‘qeep’, a social network for mobile phones in India, giving Indian users the liberty to stay connected with their friends 24X7 and make new friends across the world on downloading the application on to their mobile phones.
“We are very happy to officially start our services in India. Already, India contributes to 20% of the 300,000 members in qeep. We are confident that in the next three months the percentage will rise significantly. The whole essence of qeep is to build a global community of like-minded people who can be in touch 24 x 7. It'''s an international community that has no barriers and borders,” commented the two founders and developers of ‘qeep’, Mr. Cornelius Rost and Mr. Christian Schulte in a joint statement.
Based on Java, ‘qeep’ can be downloaded for free and offers host of interactive features like private messaging, photo-blogging, live multi-player gaming and sound attacks.
At present, over 3,000 people hailing from over 160 countries around the globe joins the network everyday, claims the company. |
