Dish TV expects DTH subscriber base to touch 30 mn in four years

With new competitors entering the fray and the medium gradually becoming popular, leading DTH player Dish TV CEO Vinay Agrawal has said in an interview that he expects the DTH subscriber base in the country to rise to 30 million subscribers in four years time.

 

On his company prospects, the CEO said that Dish TV aims to increase its subscriber base from current 3.7 million subscribers to 5 million by March 2009.

 

He felt that the increased competition will ultimately result in a positive effect for the DTH sector.
