BSNL Pune services hit as 1,000 lines go dead
TT Bureau |  |  03 Oct 2008

Cable theft has resulted in more than 1,000 lines of BSNL going dead in the areas of Khadki, Dapodi, Wakdewadi and Pashan Road in Pune circle.

Officials say that if not cable theft than the digging up of the roads may be the cause of the problem.

While BSNL has assured its subscribers that the services will be restored soon, it has at the same time appealed to its subscribers to report any cable theft in their areas.
