RCom targets laptop, PC segment for wireless internet services, comes up with Festival offers

Keeping abreast with the festive mood, Reliance Communications on Tuesday unveiled a new offer which promises to give Reliance Netconnect USB modem for free on adopting Reliance internet connection, marking the company’s intention of expanding the Internet penetration in the country by providing high quality Internet at cost-effective prices.

 

“Reliance is a leader in wireless Internet segment and to grow this market, we are making it affordable for desktop and laptop users to access high speed internet by offering a bundle of Netconnect Data Card with two months of unlimited Internet usage wherein the data card comes virtually free,” Mr. Mahesh Prasad, President-Applications, Solutions and Content Group, Reliance Communications stated while announcing the offer.

 

Reliance Netconnect Data Card provides a speed of up to 144 kbps and can be accessed with both prepaid and postpaid plans, with the option of choosing either a time based or a byte based tariff plan, said the company.

 

Simultaneously, Reliance Communications announced the introduction of a new dedicated help desk to support customers 24X7.
