BSNL to extend international roaming services to prepaid, GPRS as well as 3G subscribers

State-owned service provider, BSNL plans to offer international roaming services to its prepaid, GPRS as well as 3G subscribers. Presently the international roaming service is restricted for postpaid subscribers only.

 

BSNL has invited proposals from interested players to conduct tests for such international roaming services before the actual commercial launch. For GPRS, Prepaid and 3G services testing would involve the four zones of BSNL. All the testing would be carried out from BSNL''s Kolkata office.
