Global IP Solutions, a provider of IP multimedia processing solutions said that its VideoEngine Mobile can now support Windows Mobile platform, enabling peer-to-peer video calling and multi-point video conferencing on mobile handsets. 

On implementation of GIPS VideoEngine Mobile, wireless carriers, application developers and mobile handset manufacturers can provide high-quality video calls, even under adverse network conditions, claimed the company.

The company’s forthcoming releases will make VideoEngine Mobile available on other popular mobile platforms including Symbian and Apple’s iPhone, as well as additional hardware platforms for Windows Mobile.
