TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  15 Nov 2008

Bharti Enterprises’ VAS unit, Bharti Telesoft is reportedly in advanced level of talks with around 10 companies for possible acquisition as well as alliance mainly in the merging markets.

As per reports, the company had identified 70 companies in the VAS space globally out of which talks with 10 firms have reached to an advanced level. The move is part of the company’s strategy to generate $ 300 million in revenues from international operations within three years.

Last week the company had clicked a deal with South Africa’s MTN to provide VAS solutions for all the 21 regions of operations of MTN.

Reports also say that the company has shelved off its listing plans considering the prevailing volatile financial market scenario.
