Not leaving any chance to put across its message for the upcoming Assembly elections in New Delhi, BJP is reportedly wooing subscribers wherein the candidates will send a voice message to all MTNL landline connections and request them to convey their suggestions and grievances.
If a particular voter responds to the call and airs his concerns, the BJP candidate will respond within 24 hours and give a brief remark to the electorate. The party says that it has selected MTNL as constituency-wise details are available in case of the PSU.
The party’s IT cell has reportedly entered into an agreement with private software firm named Kirusa Software Private Limited will record the messages of candidates and send them as individual voice SMS to MTNL subscribers. 40 paise will be charged per call to the candidates.
The party has already initiated use of the SMS channel for its campaigning. |
