MySpace Mobile, RipCode tie-up to offer video streaming services to mobile subscribers

Social networking site and RipCode specializing in mobile video infrastructure solutions announced a tie-up to offer video streaming services to subscribers of MySpace Mobile. The tie-up claims that it is first of its kind service in the mobile social networking domain.

 

“Video is a natural next step for us in mobile. MySpace will continue to grow our video library as we increase delivery channels in order to keep pace with our users’ accelerating desire for video consumption,” said John Faith, vice president and general manager of MySpace Mobile.
