Zapak in partnership with India’s F1 team calls in game enthusiasts to play F1 Team online game

India’s first and the only Formula One Team, Force India and gaming portal Zapak.com said they have got an overwhelming reception for the F1 Zapak Speed Challenge launched to mark the unveiling of the country’s maiden official F1 Team online game, earlier in January this year.

 

The challenge that invited gaming enthusiasts from across the country saw over 40,000 gamers registering for the game with 3, 56,380 gameplays. As a part of the terms of the challenge, the top scores in the “Speed Challenge” will win for themselves a chance to watch a live F1 Race at Grand Prix at Sepang, Malaysia and also meet the Force India Formula 1 team.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra, of the Force India Team, said, “One of the Force India Formula One team’s strategic endeavors is to bring Indian Formula One fans closer to live F1 action. Our partnership with zapak.com and the subsequent contest on the ‘Force India & Zapak Speed Challenge is a manifestation of the same philosophy. I am delighted that two young fans who have posted the fastest scores will get a chance to cheer for Force India live at the Malaysian GP.”

 

Furthering the comment, Rohit Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd. said, “Zapak as a leader in the online gaming space in the country has always believed in providing gamers with the best offerings. Racing is now amongst the most popular genre on Zapak and with Force India F1 Zapak Speed Challenge we reached out to all racing enthusiasts. This Challenge provided them with a once in a life time opportunity to be a part of live Grand Prix action in Malaysia! And I am very happy that we have been able to fulfill dreams of these two young gamers through the medium of this tournament.”
