TT Bureau |  |  17 Apr 2009

mig33 announced tying up with five IPL teams namely Kings Xi Punjab, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers and Deccan Chargers allowing mobile fan clubs to be created for these teams.

“Cricket, like all sport, is fundamentally a social activity.  Mobile provides the ideal platform for cricket fans around the world to engage directly with one other, as well as chat to their cricket heroes, while catching all the live cricket action. We are delighted that the IPL teams have established their official mobile fan clubs on mig33 so they can use this new communications channel to help build their fan base in India and around the world. With so many IPL teams participating on mig33, cricket fans can expect a feast of entertainment to be readily available at their fingertips,” said Steve Boom, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of mig33, on the launch of the IPL team mobile fan clubs in India.
