 Trade association Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) today announced the names of the elected Board of Directors for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
“We look forward to working with the new APAC board to make 2009 and beyond exceptionally productive for our members and the mobile marketing industry as a whole,” said MMA President and CEO Mike Wehrs.
With members that come from various well know organizations of the mobile marketing ecosystem, like agencies, advertisers, brands, handheld device manufacturers, wireless operators, retailers, software and service providers, and so on.
“As an action-oriented, member-driven trade association, we incorporate the entire mobile marketing ecosystem in the work that we do. The input and the leadership that we receive from our board members around the world is absolutely vital in that process,” added Mr. Wehrs.
The new elected directors for the 2009 include, Barney Loehnis, Asia Pacific Network Director, Isobar, Brian Stoller, Partner – Invention Asia Pacific, Mindshare, a GroupM Company, Dilip Mistry, Marketing Manager - Mobile, Microsoft, Geoffrey Handley, Co-Founder, The Hyperfactory, Joshua Maa, Founder & CEO, Madhouse, Rajiv Hiranandani, Co-Founder, Mobile2Win, Sean Rach, Managing Director, OgilvyOne Worldwide, Matthias Kunze, Managing Director, Yahoo! Mobile, APAC, Anuj Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, Affle Pte Ltd, Singapore, and Chieko Abe, Product Leader, Mobile Media, Japan, The Nielsen Company.
These members will join emeritus and sustaining directors in APAC-Danilo Mojica, Head, Sales and Marketing, SMART Communications, Inc. Jimmy Poon, Managing Director, Púca China.
The APAC board will hold its first meeting within 30 days of election. The other Regional and Global Executive Committee elections and the appointment of the new Global Chairperson will be announced in June. |
