Nokia to integrate Google Search

Nokia signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with France Telecom Unit, Orange in order to provide Value Added Services (VAS) like mobile advertising, gaming, and location based services, maps. They made the announcement during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The partnership includes co-marketing and sales activities, building on and increasing the collaboration that already exists between the two.

 

In the meet, Nokia also announced that it is going to integrate Google Inc’s search engine with the Nokia Search application. Nokia with Google search will be available to its customers in over 100 countries all across the globe. Initially the alliance will be incorporated in Nokia’s N range of models but will be extended to other models as well.
