Live mobile social network service provider, photoWALL’s live media services will now be available globally to users of iPhone, Palm Pre and other handsets such as Windows Mobile, Sony Ericsson and Nokia.
The service allows users to send live photos along with geo-tags and voice tags to a website. The service also enables simultaneous live uploading of mobile media to Facebook, Flickr and Twitter.
The newly launched service is available for free at Apple’s App Store, Plam Pre’s App Catalog and also on www.photowall.com.
“photoWALL introduces a new social networking category”, says CEO, Mark Haverkate. “We guarantee only live content is posted on the Global Wall, while our unique QC process assures all photos are family friendly. And by enabling each user to define, manage and control both the posters and viewers of their own branded photoWALL, we open a unique new opportunity for family, organizational, and corporate relationships.”
The service is available in India too at http://msn.photowall.com. In India, MSN India will serve as a key channel partner also overseeing the advertising sales on co-branded site. “In today’s ever connected world, photoWALL is a powerful new medium to communicate and stay updated. Its ability to leverage the ubiquity of photographs is amazing, and we are excited about the new horizons it opens up for consumers,” adds Sanjay Trehan, Head – MSN India, Consumer & Online Business, Microsoft India.
“We recognize there are other cool mobile apps in the market, but we are unique because we are both a complimentary live feeder to the most popular social network and photography sites, and are also a global web destination for an entirely new way to search, combine and view mobile photos”, comments Apoorva Ruparel – photoWALL VP Strategy & Marketing. “Teaming with Microsoft for advertising sales and promotional marketing allows us to greatly increase our awareness, usage, and revenue.” |
