Zain bags GSMA’s inaugural mobile banking services awards

Zain bagged award at the MWC for its contribution in mobile banking services as part of GSMA’s inaugural "mobile money for the unbanked service" award category.

"Not only are we pushing the boundaries of where the mobile phone can take us, we are showing that we can improve lives and make sustainable economic contributions in the countries where we operate," said Zain Africa CEO Chris Gabriel.
