 Sun Microsystems Inc. on Tuesday unveiled new enhancements to its software channel program, including Sun Partner Advantage Program, a program that is believed to ease delivery of customer solutions like systems, software and services for an extensive composite of partners.
Additionally Sun introduced Open Access Channel Program and a range of new Software Specialties, forming a part of its initiative to facilitate its partners with new innovative ways to reach new customers, enter new markets and grow their businesses.
“The Open Access Program and Software Specialties are game-changers for both resellers who simply want easier access to sell Sun software and current Sun Partners that want to expand their software and service delivery practices,” said Jesse Chavez, vice president, Global Partner Sales, Sun Microsystems.
The Sun Partner Advantage Open Access Channel Program allows resellers to sell Sun software with no barrier to entry option and the Software Specialties Program provides partners with a simple framework for building profitable services practices, such as identity management and service oriented architecture (SOA), utilizing Sun software, said company. |
