TT Bureau |  |  13 Jan 2009

Vodafone UK in tie-up with Babelgum, announced a six moth free access to the latter’s mobile internet services for UK subscribers.

As part of the deal, Vodafone data subscribers who have Nokia N96, N95 and 6210 handsets can download the Babelgum Mobile application and then browse and play video clips of film, music from artists including Robbie Williams, Coldplay and the Kings of Leon, as well as BBC TV comedy shows such as The Office and sports for free, said the tie-up.

The services are offered under the 3G services bouquet. Users can also upload video on social networking site Facebook through the service.

The tie-up aims to cover more handsets in future and offer the services as part of Vodafone Live Services.
