Italy’s Neomobile sets foot in India for mobile entertainment services

Neomobile Group from Italy set its foot in India offering its range of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) mobile content services spanning Bollywood, celebrities, movies, gossip, music, ringtones and games.

The company is banking on cross media communication particularly the WAP medium to push uptake for its services. It has resorted to similar strategy in Spain, Turkey and Brazil.

Gianluca D’Agostino, Neomobile CEO, says one the India launch, “We believe India has a great Mobile Entertainment future, it is the right time to move into action and introduce our successful D2C- formula.  Using our media know-how and experience in technology, and leveraging the already existing collaboration with India’s Mobile Network Operators, we aim to become among the top 3 D2C-players within 2 years from launch.”

The company claims that it has partnerships with more than 120 mobile operators and 30 media companies across the globe.
