Web-based advertising tool promoting Reliance Mobile in online medium

In a fiercely competitive market environment where mobile service providers are leaving no stone untouched in their pursuit to reach out to consumers, the relevance of online medium has also assumed importance in the advertising plans of operators. Reliance Mobile for instance has come up with a innovative way to catch the attention of online audience.

The company is leveraging Ideacts Innovations Clinkck 1-on-1 web-based desktop advertising tool for the same. The tool offers ‘one brand on one screen’ avenue to advertiser enabling him exclusive space in the desktop screen.

Vishal Chinchankar, Assistant Vice President (Digital Media) for Reliance ADAG says, “Our objective was to create awareness for Simply Reliance Tariff plan, and reach was one of the most important criteria for us. As around 35% of the online reach is contributed by cyber café, our strategy was to associate with CLINCK. The unique and differentiating solution provided by the CLINCK Desktop, was an ideal option that suited our needs. It provided a huge reach and captured dedicated attention of users. This high impact’ solution has helped us to break through the clutter and noise most effectively to reach the right audiences.”

Ratnakar Bharti, Head Sales - Ideacts Innovations says, “CLINCK 1-on-1 is a one of a kind innovation. It is non-intrusive and does not pop-up disturbing the user, and neither does it die out in a few seconds. The property remains on the screen for the entire duration of the day in a non-interfering manner. It can function as a ‘complete zone’ exclusively for the brand being advertised on the desktop, where the user can get a touch and feel effect of the product unlike ever seen before on web ad-inventory. We launched a similar successful campaign with Sonata Super Fibre Watches prior to this campaign with very satisfactory reach and results.”

“The CLINCK 1-on-1 innovation achieved a CTR % (Click Through Ratio) of more than 5% superseding the industry average rate by a huge margin. This is very encouraging for brands that are looking at making a high impact noise,” he says.

Founded in 2007, Ideacts Innovations says that its CLINCK desktop application is live across 22,000 terminals mainly in cyber cafes in 58 cities across India. It claims to have received $ 3 million in second round of funding from SVB Capital. This follows the earlier $ 5 million invested by Sequoia Capital.
