TT Bureau |  |  23 Sep 2010

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) selected Capgemini to outsource its global order management operations. 400 staff from various countries including India will be transferred to Capgemini following the development.

Capgemini's subsidiary Capgemini Outsourcing Services SAS will handle the contract. The 400 staff will be joining Capgemini BPO Supply Chain Services teams.

In addition, more than 300 contractors to Nokia Siemens Networks will continue their work under Capgemini's management. However, the company has not disclosed the financial terms of the deal.

"Capgemini's collaborative and strategic approach to supply chain transformation, market knowledge and suite of enabling tools and technology will allow leading global companies like Nokia Siemens Networks to optimize their supply chain operations and achieve true competitive advantage," said Capgemini BPO Head Hubert Giraud.
