The Walt Disney Company, India has signed a multi-year agreement with Net Distribution to sell Disney branded products on www.disney.in/shopping.

The launch of this new online retail site offers, for the first time, a one-stop Disney-themed online shopping destination featuring over 600 genuine Disney products for Indian consumers. The site will be operated and managed by Net Distribution.

E-commerce is a key platform for developing our long term retail strategy and this agreement utilizes technology to deliver compelling products in an authentic online experience to our consumers,” said Roshini Bakshi, vice- president, Consumer Products, Publishing and Retail, The Walt Disney Company India.

Net Distribution are leaders in managing e-commerce sites and have a strong track record of delivering Indian consumers greater online choice and convenience,” added Ms. Bakshi.

During the launch period (16Nov-31Dec 2010), products purchased will be shipped at no additional cost.
