Tata DOCOMO, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices has announced the launch of an exciting ‘Megapromo’ contest for its existing and potential pre-paid and post-paid subscribers across Andhra Pradesh. Under this contest, subscribers have to answer trivia questions based on General Knowledge, Bollywood/Hollywood, State Politics and History and they can win prizes such as one ‘Bajaj Platina MET 100’ bike each day and a ‘Hyundai i10 d-lite’ car as a bumper prize.

“To make the contest more interesting for participants we have localized the content with questions based on general knowledge, movies, State politics and history. Through this contest, we aim at increasing the level of interaction with our customers to enhance our relationship with them. Megapromo contest is just another step in the same direction. To participate in the contest, a customer has to send an SMS with keyword WIN to 52111 or call at 52111.  Subscribers will be charged Rs. 4/- per SMS for each answer, subscribers can also enter the contest using the IVR option charged at Rs. 4. (IVR is Toll Free, only upon answering a question will Rs. 4 be charged).The customer with highest cumulated points for the day will win the daily draw while another lucky customer with the highest cumulative point of the entire promo will win the Grand Prize. The contest ends on January 19, 2011.
