Idea announces ISD vouchers in Kolkata and West Bengal

Idea Cellular announced the “Power Vouchers” which offers calls at a discounted rates to Bangladeshi Nationals traveling to Kolkata. The offer is available for other Idea subscribers also residing in Kolkata & West Bengal who make frequent calls to Bangladesh.

  

Ambrish Jain, Director - Operations, IDEA Cellular said, “Kolkata & WB witnesses huge traffic from Bangladesh for various reasons ranging from medical care, shopping and business purposes. Majority of these travelers have an average stay of 15-30 days and during this period they need to connect with their friends and relatives back home. This insight has led to the launch of the special offer that would result in major saving for them while they are here. It is also beneficial for other Idea subscribers located in Kol & WB who are frequent callers to Bangladesh.” 

 

Idea introduced two special vouchers priced at Rs.12 and Rs.36 which allows subscribers to make outgoing calls at Rs.1.99 per minute with a validity of 7 days and 30 days respectively.
