TT Correspondent |  Chandigarh |  14 Mar 2008

According to reports, Spice Telecom is all set to launch user generated content for its mobile TV services foray. The services will enable the users to download, view film and television show clippings, or even clippings pasted by other users.

The company is in the process of creating a portal for this service. The trials for the services are already underway.

The company claims that since its launch of mobile TV services, over 50,000 programmes have been viewed by subscribers in Punjab Circle.

The company has also tied up with BBC World and CNN for telecasting news content. Spice is now working towards building its own content with channels like Bindaas, Cartoon Network, NDTV Good Times, NDTV Imagine and Zoom.
