2G scam: Nira Radia tells CBI she’s being blackmailed
TT Correspondent |  |  16 Jun 2011

Corporate lobbyist Nira Radia who met the CBI director AP Sharma and home ministry officials on Wednesday lodged a complaint against a lawyer for allegedly blackmailing her.

Radia sought an appointment with Singh in his North Block office instead of the CBI headquarters in the national capital to avoid the media. She also met officials in the ministry of home affairs.

Radia is listed as witness number 44 among over 125 witnesses in the 2G case. The CBI is likely to file the second supplementary charge sheet in the 2G scam by June end or in first week of July, sources said.
