2G scam: CBI apprise JPC of collected documents and files

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has informed the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probing 2G scam about the relevant documents, intercepted calls and the files it has gathered during investigation. It said that these documents and the files run into more than 10,000 pages.

 

The CBI also said that it has completed the scrutiny of the intercepted calls of those accused in the controversy. It may be recalled that the agency has recxords of the intercepted calls of Nira Radia, some of corporate executives and even media persons regarding the case. It said that it has completed the task of collecting these documents and files well in time.

 

The Agency also informed the JPC that it has also analyses all the aspects of the telecom policy which came into question following the views expressed by some officials saying that the first come, first served policy was in practice since  NDA rule.
