AirTyme Communications on Tuesday revealed its plans to launch its premium Motorola MILESTONE XT800, India’s first Dual SIM/Dual Mode Android smartphones in a new value package positioned for Diwali celebrations.

The device has a high-resolution capacitive touch display, sports a 5 MP camera with digital zoom, auto focus and dual LED flash, and HDMI (720p) output for sharing of pictures and videos with friends in excellent quality. Designed with the traveler in mind, the MILESTONE includes aGPS support for Google Maps, e-Compass, and its dual-SIM capability allows users to roam between GSM and CDMA networks.

“With the festival season soon upon us, the timing was right to introduce more Indian consumers to the top tier of mobile phone technology”, said Gaurav Narang, AirTyme’s Director of Operations.  

The MILESTONE will be available nationwide at a new price of INR 16999, and now includes a 2GB micro-SD card at no additional cost.
