BT confirms $202 million Frontline Technologies acquisition

BT announced that it had completely acquired Frontline Technologies Corporation Ltd. for around $202 million and will begin operations instantly under the new brand name of BT Frontline.

 

BT Frontline has significant subsidiaries and associate companies which will continue operating under their existing brand names. These include Accel Frontline (India), MDCL Frontline and G-Able Co. Ltd. It has also set up a number of joint venture companies with Sun Microsystems in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

 

Steve Ting, Chairman of BT Frontline said “ Since the establishment of Frontline in 1993, we surely have come a long way in leveraging BT’s portfolio of global networked IT services and delivering our regional solutions to a global audience. BT Frontline brings new major contracts in Asia Pacific to BT and provides BT Frontline customers the full suite of BT services.”
