Court permits Swamy to examine Chidambaram in 2G case

A special CBI court on Thursday  allowed Janata Party chief  Subramanian Swamy's to question Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G spectrum case. 

Swamy for quite some time has been maintaining that Chidambaram the then finance minister has supported the former telecom minister A Raja’s decisions and therefore should be made an accused in the 2G spectrum allocation case.

Apart from this, the court has also permitted examin Joint Secretary in Ministry of Finance along with more witnesses.

Reacting to the development Swamy said that the process of issuing summons to P Chidambaram had been shortened. 

The special CBI court on December 3 had reserved its order on Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy's plea to examine witnesses to establish Home Minister P. Chidambaram's alleged complicity in the second generation (2G) spectrum allocation case.
