MTNL Mumbai launches prepaid BlackBerry services for 2G and 3G customers

The state owned, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam limited (MTNL), Mumbai, on Wednesday launched BlackBerry services for its prepaid GSM 2G and 3G mobile customers. 

 

MTNL is India’s first 3G Mobile service provider. The prepaid customers can subscribe to BlackBerry BIS Lite plan which allows unlimited free access to Emails, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and instant messaging (IM) at just Rs 251 for 30 days.

 

BIS Lite trial plan at Rs 150 is also available for 15 days, for those customers who want to check the services before enrolling for full fledged plan.

 

Earlier MTNL was offering BlackBerry services exclusively for its postpaid customers and with this BIS Lite plan launch, the prepaid 2G and 3G customers will also be able to enjoy the BlackBerry services.
