Obopay enters India, ties-up with Yes Bank for MMT services

Obopay marked its India foray by launching instant money transfer services in India through a partnership between its subsidiary Obopay India and Yes bank.

 

The deal will enable Yes Bank customers to transfer money to and from any mobile phone number with Obopay’s mobile application, text message or mobile web. Also the customers can withdraw cash received by using their Yes Bank debit card.

 

Aditya Menon, executive director of Obopay India said “Together, Obopay and Yes Bank give Indian mobile consumer power over their money. This service is built for today’s mobile lifestyle, making funds available to consumers anytime, anywhere”.

 

The customers of Yes Bank can sign up for Obiopay through forms available at the bank’s branches and ATMs in Mumbai and the National Capital Region.
