2G: Subramanian Swamy moves SC against Chidambaram
TT Correspondent |  |  23 Feb 2012

Continuing his tirade against his bete noire P Chidambaram, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Thursday moved the Supreme Court challenging the special CBI court’s verdict which dismissed his plea to make the former a co-accused in 2G spectrum allocation case.

Earlier talking to media Swamy criticized the Sonia Gandhi saying that the Congress needs to be liberated from the Nehru-Gandhi family He said he did not recognise Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul as political leaders in their own right.

Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy's plea to make home minister P Chidambaram a co-accused in 2G case was dismissed by a Delhi court on February 4.

Swamy has all along been alleging that Chidambaram should be prosecuted in the case as he is party to the Raja’s decision on spectrum pricing.

After the trial court’s verdict was pronounced Swamy had said that he was surprised and would move the higher court against the decision.
