Tata DOCOMO unveils ‘Video Ringtone’ service for GSM customers

Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of GSM customersLimited on Friday launched   innovative VAS offering, Video Ringtone service for its GSM customers across circles. 

 

Commenting on this service, Anjan Patole, Chief Operating Officer, Mumbai Circle, Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited, said: “Video ringtone is definitely a zing thing that will entice our GSM customers instead of the boring audio Ringtone. Vringo is first ever service in Indian industry and the first with Tata DOCOMO. This innovative and exciting service will give our customers the freedom to choose a video from vast library and collection of videos available.

 

Vringo service costs only Re 1/day (auto renewal) which includes access to Tata DOCOMO’s huge video ringtones library. Other than the daily subscription charge, customer will pay data charges for downloading videos from the portal as per his/her data plan. Vringo portal will allow users to download high quality videos from various genres like Bollywood, funny videos, devotional videos, popular television campaigns (ads), etc and set the same as their video ringtones.
