Polycom, Inc. the global leader in open standards-based unified communications (UC), on Monday recognised several of its top performing channel partners from around the world at TEAM Polycom 2012, the company’s annual sales and partner conference, held this week in Orlando, Fla.

Airtel Business, Bharti Airtel bagged Service Provider of the Year award for the APAC region under Polycom’s Theater Partner Awards category while AGC Networks Limited was adjudged winner of Partner of the Year, India & SAARC under Polycom’s Country Partner Awards category.

The annual TEAM Polycom Partner Awards showcase partners who exhibited outstanding sales performance in 2011 in each of the major partner categories and, this year, the company is also recognising partners for excellence in innovation, industry focus, services, and integration.

At an awards ceremony in Orlando, Polycom presented global awards to partners whose achievements impact Polycom’s business on a worldwide basis, along with theatre awards for each of the company’s four operating regions and country awards to partners that primarily do business within a single country.
